RHA® COLLECTION

RHA® COLLECTION OF DERMAL FILLERS SERVING THE WASHINGTON & ST. GEORGE, UT AREA

The first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) filler for dynamic facial wrinkles and folds is now available at Riverside Medical Arts. We are pleased to be the first and ONLY facility in Southern Utah to offer this collection of fillers by Revance® Aesthetics!

This exclusive RHA® Collection of dermal fillers represents the latest advancement in HA filler science. The excellence of Swiss science is now available in the US!

Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA®), is a new, effective, and natural way to replace your skin’s natural hyaluronic acid loss over time, bringing back its volume and softening facial wrinkles and folds.

As we age, facial wrinkles and folds appear in areas of the face which move repetitively, these are called dynamic wrinkles. This is due to the thinning and weakening of the tissues supporting our facial muscles. The RHA® Collection (RHA® 2, RHA® 3, or RHA® 4) is the first and only FDA-approved HA filler for dynamic facial wrinkles and folds.

RHA® 2, RHA® 3, or RHA® 4 effectively smooths facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, while still allowing for facial movement. The RHA® Collection of Dermal Fillers works by preserving the natural structure of the HA found in your skin but resilient enough to adapt to your facial movement!

WHY IS THE RHA® COLLECTION DIFFERENT FROM OTHER DERMAL FILLERS?

While most of the advanced dermal fillers use HA in their product formulation, RHA® – Resilient Hyaluronic Acid is the first innovation to facial fillers since 2008 and is designed to be resilient and made to move with the dynamic demands of your face.

The RHA® Collection of Dermal Fillers is different due to the crosslinking method that preserves the hyaluronic acid network to more closely mimic natural HA which is found in the skin.

Also, the gels are designed to be resilient and adapt to facial movement, which may provide a natural look while at rest and in motion. Most importantly, the RHA® Collection is long-lasting – up to 15 months!

WHAT ARE THE RHA® COLLECTION OF DERMAL FILLERS USED FOR?

The RHA® Collection of Dermal Fillers, manufactured by Revance® Aesthetics, are clear, colorless injectable gels that can correct facial wrinkles and folds. The FDA-approved RHA® Dermal Fillers come in 3 different formulations: RHA® 2, RHA® 3, and RHA® 4.

Each product contains hyaluronic acid made using a Streptococcus equi bacterial strain. They also contain a small amount of local anesthetic (lidocaine) to help with patient comfort.

Overall, the indications for use in adults (over age 21 years) are:

  • RHA® 2 and RHA® 3 are indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis for the correction of moderate-to-severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds.
  • RHA® 4 is indicated for injection into the deep dermis to superficial subcutaneous tissue for the correction of moderate-to-severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds.

Often referred to as dermatitis by dermatologists, eczema can result from both genetic and environmental causes. Plants, metals, chemicals, clothing and other external forces can all lead to skin irritation and ultimately eczema. Poison ivy, diaper rash and dandruff are all different forms of dermatitis. Other names for eczema include atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, irritant dermatitis nummular dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis. In order to effectively treat eczema, an investigation into the cause is can be an important part of the evaluation by your dermatologist and may require more specialized testing.

Treatment includes avoiding environmental triggers (if possible), restoring the barrier function of the skin and reducing inflammation. Topical steroids are an important consideration in the treatment of many forms of eczema.
